Muesli
Muesli is handy to have around and a nice alternative to boxed cereals. There are several good brands available for purchase, but like most things, it’s much less expensive to make at home – and it’s extremely easy. There’s no real recipe – choose your own adventure.
The ratio:
Four parts grains: rolled oats is most common, but you can use other grains
1 part nuts and seeds: I usually use a combination of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, coconut flakes and slivered almonds
1 part dried fruit: I like sultanas and dried cranberries
Mix together well and store in a dry place.
